Hey Y'all!
Hey Y'all!
I am a first-year law student at UNLV's William S. Boyd Schol of Law. I recently received my Master's in Community Journalism. I also earned my Bachelor's in English with a Psych minor at UA , graduating in three years with honors, summa cum laude.
I hope to use my legal education and my communications experience to make the legal system more accessible for everyone and enact the same kind of change that I love to write about. I am passionate about contextualizing social, political, historical and cultural events to foster greater understanding and compassion among human beings.
Some of the highlights of my academic career include my time as the newsletter editor for Alice Magazine, a magazine created for and by college women. I covering current events in a weekly column. I also contributed to three of the bi-annual print editions. As a Master's student, I served as a mentor at UA's Media Writing Center where I edited other student's journalism and communications assignments.
